The Marwayne Fire & Rescue Department provides fire, rescue and emergency medical first aid to both the Village of Marwayne and part of the County of Vermilion River. The service spans across 1261 sq. km. and serves approximately 1,885 residents. Equipped with 2 pumper trucks, 1 rescue van, and 1 rapid response vehicle, the Marwayne Fire & Rescue Department is always ready when they are needed.
The Marwayne Fire & Rescue Department is made up of 15+ dedicated volunteer fire fighters who care passionately about their community. The department is governed by the Village's Bylaw No. 449-05 and related policies.
