Councillor Cheryle Eikeland

It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that the Village of Marwayne must share the passing of our beloved Councillor, Cheryle Eikeland. Cheryle passed away on Saturday October 1st, 2022 unexpectedly at the age of 64. Cheryle was a pillar in our community and she will be missed more than words can express. Cheryle was an active member of our volunteer fire department, the main host and organizer of the annual Marwayne street dance and light up Marwayne events, and the owner of the famous Marwayne hotel. Cheryle played a huge role in advocating for the best interests of the Village through her position on Council as well as on the many external boards and committees that she was apart of. Cheryle called Marwayne home for over 15 years and we miss her dearly. Rest in Peace.
