The Village of Marwayne's economic development initiatives are coordinated through a board of community volunteers and representatives from the municipality. The Economic Development Committee meets quarterly to address matters pertaining to business growth and development.

- Highway 897 Billboard Project
- The project aims to promote the local and surrounding area businesses on a large scale billboard located along Highway 897. For an annual fee of $75.00, business owners can advertise their logo in order to draw passerby's into the community to shop, eat and play!
